Doris Shi

Doris Shi joined 5 as a Senior Energy Analyst on May 8, 2023. With over half a decade of experience in the energy industry since January 2018, Doris brings extensive expertise to her role. She plays a pivotal role in helping clients and advisors develop long-term energy plans by analyzing historical load, monitoring market fundamentals, and executing hedging strategies to reduce risk. Additionally, Doris builds interactive business intelligence reports and dashboards, creates budget forecasts, and performs bill audits as needed.

Doris holds a double major in Accounting and Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her master's in Business Analytics at the University of Rochester. Doris joined 5 because she was drawn to the company's culture of smart, driven, and fun individuals, as well as its commitment to growth, seeing it as an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.

Outside of work, Doris moved to Florida at the end of 2022 and enjoys exploring parks and oceans with her dog Pi.
