On April 2, 2019, 5 expanded its presence in the Northeastern United States by acquiring New Jersey-based Luthin Associates, an industry leader in energy management consulting in the New York tri-state area.

For over 25 years, Luthin Associates has provided a wide array of energy consulting services to major industry sectors throughout the country, with a particularly strong footprint in the Northeast. The firm specializes in energy procurement and risk management, energy efficiency and sustainability, and regulatory affairs.
